Graduated from the University of Florida in 1977 with a B.S. in Chemistry. I worked at Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute and then Exxon Research and Engineering before taking time off to have my son. My ex-husband worked for Richardson-Vicks and was sent to England for a year hence the reason my son was born there. By the time I went back to work, the environmental field had become very important so I went to work at Connecticut Testing Laboratories where I remained until they closed in 2017. I am presently working at Phoenix Environmental Labs doing almost the same thing I was doing at my previous job.
